For the employer & job seeker
Unlimited Services, Inc. is an employment resource connecting employer personnel needs with people who can do the job. We support employees and their employers in achieving mutually beneficial employment partnerships.
The major barriers to achievement by people with disabilities in our society continue to be attitudinal barriers, stereotypical thinking, and assumptions about what people can and can’t do. The truth is that the range of ability of persons within any disability group is enormous. We need to get rid of our stereotypical images and view each individual as just that: “an individual.”

Here’s what satisfied employers have to say…
“We have been working with Unlimited Services since November 2007. We have been lucky to have the same employee for the past nine years. We have never had any problems with Unlimited Services and all the staff that transport our employee have been very supportive and helpful. Our employee is always on time and ready to start work with no complaining. If our employee can’t make it in to work, we always receive a phone call from Unlimited Services letting us know of his absence. Our employee greets all of our other employees as they do him. He is one of the “guys” and is very proud of this and the work he does for us. We plan on continuing our working relationship and friendship with Unlimited Services and our “guy” for many years to come.”

Most Unlimited Services employees are in it for the long haul…they love their jobs and always want to be there. This is a wonderful organization for the communities. A win win all around!”

Employment of People With Disabilities in Iowa
Everyone benefits when Iowans with Disabilities Work
Competitive integrated employment provides individuals with disabilities with increased income, an opportunity to achieve economic self-sufficiency, better quality of life, and more involvement in their community.
The Iowa economy as a whole also benefits when people with disabilities are in the workforce, paying taxes and spending their earnings in our local communities. 2012 research by Dr. Robert Cimera of Kent State University indicated that for every $1 spent on supported employment, $1.46 is returned to the economy.
The state benefits as the result of reduced costs to Medicaid and other income support programs. In fact, research by the University of Iowa Public Policy Center showed that Medicaid members covered under Medicaid for Employed Persons with Disabilities (MEPD) incur 21.5% less in claims than members with the same definition of disability who receive SSI and do not work.
Businesses benefit from the talents and contributions of Iowans with disabilities. “At the end of the day, our nation was founded on the principle that anyone who works hard should be able to get ahead in life,” Respectability president Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi said. “People with disabilities deserve the opportunity to earn an income and achieve independence, just like anyone else.”
Multiple Iowa state agencies have community-integrated employment at competitive wages as a priority in their work with Iowans who have disabilities.
